Part of our vehicle inspection process is to inspect for previous accident damage. Previous accident damage is the number one missed issue by consumers. The extent of damage during an accident can range from a minor scuff to a bumper all the way to a vehicle being totaled and everything in between. Body shops are becoming very skilled at repairing a vehicle after an accident, but no matter how hard they try, they will never be able to return the vehicle back to factory specs. This could affect the safety, drivability, and wear and tear costs significantly. Let us find the previous accident damage. - Has the car been in an accident?
- Why don’t the body panels line up?
- Why the paint doesn’t match 100% from panel to panel?
- Has the safety of the vehicle been compromised from the accident
- Will a vehicle loose value after being in and accident?
To the trained eye, previous accident damage cannot be missed. This part of the inspection will take about 5-7 minutes but in some cases may take longer depending on type, size and age of your vehicle.
